Harmonies in three stages.

The winegrowers are all in agreement ; the wines of Savennières are complex without sacrificing drinkability. The wines of Savennières have verve and elegance while young and with patience will reveal their secrets with age as the wines gain harmony, complexity and richness in the cellar.
The wines of Savennières are often described as having mineral characters. Minerality is more complex than merely a scent or taste of flint or stone. The wines of Savennières are raised on the stony soils banking the Loire River. The stony soils give them a unique set of aromas, mouthfeel and acidity found with no other wines and can only be described as ‘mineral.’ Paired with the cool climate of the Loire Valley, the wines of Savennières also have great acidity, tension, and freshness.
